“What I find most rewarding is witnessing the sacred space of healing unfold.”

My path to becoming a therapist wasn't linear, but every step along the way feels like it has led me here. I've worn many hats - a birth and postpartum doula, youth leader, advocate for foster youth and survivors of trafficking, and even an artist leading workshops. All of these experiences, fueled by a passion for people, wholeness, and mental health, converged beautifully in therapy. It allows me to weave together my professional background with creative expression, creating a space where I can truly be myself and support others in doing the same.

In therapy, I see myself as a partner on a client's healing journey. My role is to help them tap into their own inner strength and resources. This might involve creative expression through art therapy, techniques like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or simply providing a safe space for reflection and growth. My core values in this approach are emotional support, psychoeducation, validation, and unconditional positive regard.

What I find most rewarding is witnessing the sacred space of healing unfold. Being a part of that transformation is a tremendous honor. This is especially true when working in a trauma-informed environment. It allows me to see a client's behaviors and experiences through the lens of their story, rather than judgment. Trauma can have a profound impact on our lives, and a trauma-informed approach creates a space for understanding and healing.

On a personal note, I'm a mother to neurodivergent children, an artist myself who loves to paint, and an avid reader who enjoys curling up with a good book, houseplants, and a good dose of late-night TV with my husband.
