What she finds most rewarding about her role is witnessing clients discover an inner strength they never knew they possessed.

Chelsea’s journey into the mental health field was inspired by a deep recognition of the need for greater compassion, empathy, and understanding in the world. Witnessing the profound individual and communal impacts of mental health issues, crises, suicide, trauma, and substance abuse solidified her desire to make a difference. Chelsea holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and is a Certified Social Worker (CSW) with a certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Her areas of specialization and interest encompass a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, anger issues, trauma, mood and personality disorders, substance abuse and dependency, codependency, grief, loss, life changes, career and lifestyle issues, interpersonal issues, and unhealthy behavioral patterns. Chelsea utilizes various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Chelsea’s approach to helping clients heal emphasizes mindfulness and self-awareness. She believes it's crucial to be conscious of her own experiences, biases, and beliefs to create a truly safe space for others. Her therapeutic toolbox includes CBT, DBT, interpersonal skills training, exploration of coping skills, mindfulness training, psycho-education, and role-play & behavioral rehearsal.

Chelsea contributes to clients' healing journeys by providing a safe, non-judgmental environment where they feel welcome to explore their issues without pressure. What she finds most rewarding about her role is witnessing clients discover an inner strength they never knew they possessed. Chelsea deeply values the trust that is built within the therapeutic relationship, recognizing that earning a client's trust, especially after they have experienced trauma, is a true privilege.

When she is not working, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, pups, cats, and horses on the farm. She also loves sky-gazing, four-wheeling, and relaxing with a good TV show.
