What Emily finds most rewarding about her role is being present with clients throughout their journey, offering support through both the highs and lows

Emily has always been fascinated by the human experience, drawn to the unique stories that shape each of us. This fascination, combined with a desire to help others, led her to pursue a Masters of Social Work and become a Clinical Social Worker (CSW). She finds great fulfillment in walking alongside individuals as they navigate their personal journeys, offering empathetic support and research-based interventions to improve their mental well-being. Emily is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and also enjoys incorporating parts and attachment work into her practice. As a Spanish speaker, she is also fortunate to work with many Spanish-speaking clients.

Emily’s approach to therapy is deeply client-centered. She believes in meeting each client where they are, offering gentle challenges to encourage self-exploration within their own capacity. Open communication is essential to Emily; she strives to create an environment where clients feel comfortable sharing anything without fear of judgment. This is key to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and validated. In supporting their healing journey, she emphasizes self-compassion and resilience, empowering them to discover their strengths and develop effective coping strategies.

What Emily finds most rewarding about her role is being present with clients throughout their journey, offering support through both the highs and lows. She values the commitment of a trauma-informed environment to create a safe, respectful, and empowering space for everyone.

Outside of work, you'll likely find her on the pickleball court, immersed in a good book, or exploring a new hobby.
