Ethan’s passion for people and a deep desire to alleviate suffering in all its forms has led him to pursue a career in mental health counseling. Currently, Ethan is a Master's in Counseling student working as an intern, gaining valuable experience and honing his skills. Ethan is driven by the belief that everyone deserves support and understanding as they navigate life's challenges.
Ethan’s approach to helping clients heal draws from several evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. He believes these approaches offer a well-rounded foundation for addressing a variety of concerns and empowering clients to make positive changes. He finds great satisfaction in connecting with people and supporting them through the issues they want to address.
What Ethan appreciates most about this work, and what he also values most about working within a trauma-informed environment, is the holistic nature of the care we provide. This means considering each person and their experiences in their entirety, recognizing the interconnectedness of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors within the context of their lives.
Outside of his studies and work, Ethan enjoys attending community events with friends, indulging his inner film and music geek, and showering his many beloved animals with affection.
