The collaborative nature of therapy, creating a space where clients feel heard and understood, is also deeply rewarding

Sipera’s journey into the mental health field has been driven by a deep desire to help others, informed by personal experiences and a strong belief in the power of meaningful change. Witnessing clients navigate challenges like trauma, anxiety, and depression, and then seeing the positive transformations in their lives, is incredibly rewarding. She has always been drawn to caregiving roles and finds true fulfillment in supporting people as they overcome obstacles. This path has also deepened her understanding of the importance of mental health support and my commitment to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues, contributing to a healthier and more understanding society. Sipera holds an M.A. and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, LPCA, pursuing specializations in trauma-informed care and play therapy.

Sipera’s approach to helping clients heal is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practices, and a strengths-based perspective. Creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and validated is of utmost importance. She prioritizes client-centered care, meeting each individual where they are in their journey and tailoring interventions to their unique needs and goals. Understanding the impact of trauma is central to her practice, ensuring her methods prioritize safety and avoid re-traumatization. Sipera also focuses on helping clients identify and build upon their existing strengths, empowering them to recognize their capacity for healing and growth. Depending on the client’s needs, she utilizes various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and incorporates techniques that address physical well-being, such as breathing exercises and somatic approaches. Her ultimate goal is to equip clients with tools for long-term emotional resilience.

Sipera contributes to clients' healing by fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, offering tailored interventions, and providing tools for self-empowerment. This includes building trust and safety through a non-judgmental and compassionate space, empowering clients to reclaim their sense of agency, providing psychoeducation and insight, developing healthy coping mechanisms, encouraging gradual progress, and promoting a mind-body connection. What she values most about this work is being a part of someone’s healing journey and witnessing their growth and transformation. She believes it is incredibly fulfilling to see clients overcome challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with their inner strengths. The collaborative nature of therapy, creating a space where clients feel heard and understood, is also deeply rewarding.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys listening to music, reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends
