Taylor’s passion lies in helping others build healthier, happier relationships and heal from the impact of trauma. This passion has driven her to pursue a career in the mental health field as a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate. Taylor’s areas of interest are twofold: working with couples and families, and supporting children who have experienced trauma.
Taylor’s approach to helping clients involves utilizing evidence-based practices, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy (she is Level Two trained). She believes in a collaborative approach that promotes client autonomy and ensures treatment is client-centered. She focuses not only on addressing challenges but also on recognizing and building upon existing strengths and positive aspects of their lives.
Taylor contributes to clients' healing journeys by creating a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment. She finds immense satisfaction in watching clients prioritize their own well-being and make positive changes. She is constantly inspired by the strength and resilience of her clients.
Outside of her work, Taylor enjoys staying active with group workout classes and spending time on the golf course.
